The Orangery, owned by Bahrain’s renowned hospitality brand, Amriya Group, has opened in Al Liwan, the integrated retail and lifestyle complex in Hamala.

This marks the third branch of The Orangery, following the overwhelming success of its locations at The Avenues Mall and Palmyard Hotel.

The Orangery has garnered numerous accolades, including the esteemed titles of Best Afternoon Tea in 2018 and Best All Day Casual Restaurant in 2017 by the Bahrain Food and Travel Awards. The Orangery’s popularity stems from its ability to transport patrons to charming and exotic locales, seamlessly blending European sophistication with vibrant Arabian flavors.

The concept offers an all-day dining experience that blends the essence of European cuisine with vibrant Arabian flavours. Guests stepping into The Orangery are transported to a world reminiscent of the luxurious tearooms found in London, Paris, and Vienna. The venue’s sophisticated and serene atmosphere captures the charm and ambiance of the West, while incorporating touches of the East.

The culinary mastermind behind The Orangery and Amriya Group’s other F&B outlets is executive chef Steeven Gilles. With experience gained in highly-acclaimed restaurants worldwide, Gilles has played a pivotal role in securing multiple awards for various establishments in his illustrious career.

The Orangery’s highly skilled culinary team takes pride in crafting gastronomic marvels, ranging from tantalising pastries and tarts to viennoiseries, all perfectly complementing the all-day dining menu.

Group general manager, Loyd Loudy, believes The Orangery’s growth and success validate Amriya Group’s commitment to offering enchanting experiences that transport people to extraordinary destinations. He explained, “While The Orangery draws inspiration from the luxurious tearooms of England and France, Masso takes cues from the French Riviera and the Amalfi Coast, and Circa emanates the vibrant atmosphere of Miami.”

Amriya Group’s executive chairman, Khalid Al-Rumaihi, strives to establish the company as a world-class brand capable of rivaling global giants. He attributes the success of their concepts to the dedicated professionals who oversee daily operations. Al-Rumaihi commented, “Amriya Group has assembled the highest caliber professionals from around the world, many of whom have spearheaded successful endeavors such as LPM, 45 Park Lane, and the Lanesborough Hotel in London.”

Amriya Group, the driving force behind The Orangery, boasts an impressive portfolio that includes Palmyard Hotel, the acclaimed fine-dining restaurant Masso, the Latin-themed lounge Circa, and The Secret Garden. Masso, a consistent award winner since its inception, recently earned a place on the prestigious “MENA’s Top 50 Restaurants” list.
